This dresser had been left to neglect including water damage to the top, structural joints failing, all the metal hardware had tarnished away, it had acquired a distasteful odor, and veneer and inlay were missing in chips.

We performed a full strip and refinish plus repairs:

1. We stripped the coatings off the piece and removed odors
2. We corrected structural deficiencies and realigned drawers
3. We corrected missing inlays and veneer patches
4. We corrected the cracks and stains in the top from the water damage
5. We authentically colored the piece to the client’s approval
6. We refinished the hardware
7. We finished with topcoats of catalyzed lacquer (satin sheen in this case)
